In combustion, a rising CO reading says air is short. In steel, syngas and heat treatment atmospheres, CO is a main component. In gas certification, a few ppm of CO is an impurity limit. Electrochemical cells are sensitive and economical at ppm level but respond to other gases and have a finite life. NDIR measures percent levels directly and is stable for years. ACCURRA-S uses the one that suits your range. ## Requirements and limits - Safe-area analyser. Choose 2030 for percent CO in process gas, furnace atmospheres and test ducts.
