# Filter elements: bonded microfibre, stainless steel and PTFE

The element does the filtering. Bonded glass microfibre elements remove particles and, in coalescing grades, merge fine oil and water aerosols into drops that drain away. Stainless steel mesh and pure PTFE elements cover the duties microfibre cannot.
