ACCURRA-TCD · Hydrogen

# Online hydrogen gas analyser, platinum thermal conductivity, no reference gas

ACCURRA-TCD is Sarvesh's thermal conductivity analyser line. For hydrogen, a platinum thermal conductivity sensor measures hydrogen from 0 to 100 percent, depending on the background gas, with no reference gas.

- ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV
- Designed and built in Pune since 2002
- Supplied to Reliance, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, Linde and ISRO

 Quick answer

ACCURRA-TCD measures hydrogen from 0 to 100 %, depending on the background gas, with a platinum thermal conductivity sensor and no reference gas. Display resolution is 0.01 % and repeatability is better than 1 % of full scale.

## Key features

- Dual-level password protection and history of alarms and calibrations
- Programmable alarms Lo-Hi, Lo-Lo, Hi-Hi
- Output freeze or follow during calibration

## How it works

Hydrogen has the highest thermal conductivity of any gas, so a thermal conductivity sensor responds strongly to it. Platinum-based sensing avoids the need for a reference gas and holds calibration well.

Typical uses are hydrogen production and filling, hydrogen purity in cooling of generators, metal processing and heat treatment atmospheres, and leak detection in safe-area enclosures. Response is fast, with T90 below 10 seconds at the recommended 0.6 LPM.

## Requirements and limits

- Safe-area analyser; a single known background gas assumed.

## On site: utilities and calibration gases

What to have ready at your plant before installation and commissioning.

| Item | Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Power at the analyser | 100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 45 W | |
| Zero gas | Zero-grade nitrogen, 99.999 % | 10 litre cylinder with regulator |
| Span gas | The measured gas at zero grade, 99.999 %: hydrogen, helium, argon or nitrous oxide | 10 litre cylinder with regulator |
| Sample at the analyser | 2 to 10 psig, 0.6 LPM, 5 to 40 °C, dust below 3 micron | Pressure and flow regulated by the user |
| Mounting | 19 inch rack or panel, in a safe area | |

## Selection guidance
