Sample handling

# Gas sampling components and systems for online analysers

The sample handling system between your process and the analyser decides whether the analyser gives years of accurate readings. Sarvesh makes the probes, coolers, conditioners, vaporisers and complete systems, and represents Headline Filters, UK.

- ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV
- Designed and built in Pune since 2002
- Supplied to Reliance, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, Linde and ISRO

 Quick answer

Sarvesh makes the sample handling between process and analyser: probes (SP-100, SP-200, SP-300, SRP-400), the SGI-300 Peltier cooler, i-Cons and SGI-320 systems, SV-200 and SV-400 vaporisers, and, as exclusive India representative, Headline Filters from the UK.

## Key features

- One supplier for the whole measurement path
- Compact, plug-and-play designs that cut tubing, wiring and panel space
- Diagnostics, blowback control and early warnings in i-Cons and SGI-320

## How it works

Most analyser problems begin upstream of the analyser: a blocked probe filter, condensate in the line, a pump that has quietly failed. The sample handling system is the key to years of accurate measurement, and ACCURRA-S expects a sample that is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-flammable, dry and free of oil, at 2 to 10 psig and about 1 LPM.

Where your sample does not meet that, we design the conditioning around your application. A typical chain has a probe with a filter, a transport line, a cooler or vaporiser, a pump, fine filters and scrubbers, and the analyser. Sarvesh makes each element, and combines them in i-Cons and SGI-320 so that they are controlled by one microcontroller.

## Requirements and limits

- i-Cons and SGI-320: not suitable for samples containing HCl, HF, H2S or other highly corrosive, toxic or flammable gases.

## Selection guidance

Choose the probe from the gas temperature and dust, the conditioner from the sample dew point and composition, and filters from what must be removed. Send our pre-order input sheet details and we will propose a system.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do I need a sampling system?**

Clean, dry, non-corrosive, non-flammable samples at 2 to 10 psig can go straight to ACCURRA-S through its fine filter. Hot, wet or dusty samples need conditioning.

**Can you design a system for my process?**

Yes. Send the sample temperature, pressure, dew point, dust level and distance to the analyser.

**Do you make filters?**

We are the exclusive representative of Headline Filters Ltd., UK, and make our own filter housings, catchpots and scrubbers.

**What is a heated line for?**

To keep the sample above its dew point between the probe and the conditioner.
