Gas analysers for hydrogen production, electrolysers and biogas

Hydrogen and biogas plants combine flammable gas, high purity targets and strict safety philosophy. Sarvesh supplies platinum thermal conductivity hydrogen analysers that need no reference gas, hazardous-area oxygen and hydrogen analysers, and NDIR methane and CO2 analysers for biogas.

Quick answer

Hydrogen and biogas plants use ACCURRA-TCD for hydrogen purity and hydrogen in oxygen, ACCURRA-Hz in classified areas, and ACCURRA-S NDIR analysers for methane and CO2. Sarvesh makes no SIL claim; tell us at the start if your project requires one.

What matters here

What hydrogen and new energy plants need from gas analysis

  • Hydrogen purity by platinum thermal conductivity, no reference gas
  • Hydrogen in oxygen and oxygen in hydrogen around electrolysers
  • Hazardous-area enclosures for Gas Group IIC, Zone 1 and 2, T6
  • Methane and CO2 by NDIR, in one dual-gas enclosure if needed

New-energy projects ask for analysers early, often in the first technical specification, so we state what we meet. Our hazardous-area analysers use enclosures certified for Gas Group IIC, Zone 1 and 2, T6. We make no SIL claim today, and if a project requires SIL-rated devices we want to know at the start.

Samples in these plants are pressurised, wet and sometimes contaminated. The sampling system is part of the answer, so we ask for pressure, temperature and moisture along with the gas and range.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do your analysers have SIL certification?

We do not make a SIL claim. If your project requires SIL-rated analysers, tell us the requirement and we will confirm point by point what we meet.

Can you supply analysers for a green hydrogen project?

Yes. Send the specification and we will respond point by point on analyser type, range, area classification and sampling.
