ACCURRA-TCD measures hydrogen from 0 to 100 %, depending on the background gas, with a platinum thermal conductivity sensor and no reference gas. Display resolution is 0.01 % and repeatability is better than 1 % of full scale.

Key features
- Dual-level password protection and history of alarms and calibrations
- Programmable alarms Lo-Hi, Lo-Lo, Hi-Hi
- Output freeze or follow during calibration
How it works
Hydrogen has the highest thermal conductivity of any gas, so a thermal conductivity sensor responds strongly to it. Platinum-based sensing avoids the need for a reference gas and holds calibration well.
Typical uses are hydrogen production and filling, hydrogen purity in cooling of generators, metal processing and heat treatment atmospheres, and leak detection in safe-area enclosures. Response is fast, with T90 below 10 seconds at the recommended 0.6 LPM.
Requirements and limits
- Safe-area analyser; a single known background gas assumed.
