INFINITY-Tx two-wire gas transmitter for hazardous areas

INFINITY-Tx is a loop-powered, two-wire gas transmitter. It measures percent oxygen and trace carbon monoxide in hazardous areas and mounts directly in the field, so you avoid long sample lines.

INFINITY-Tx
  • ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV
  • Designed and built in Pune since 2002
  • Supplied to Reliance, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, Linde and ISRO
Quick answer

INFINITY-Tx is a loop-powered two-wire transmitter for percent oxygen and trace CO in hazardous areas. It has an inbuilt filter and scrubber, works on very low flow and pressure samples, and mounts directly in the field.

Why INFINITY-Tx

Measures at the process

Mounted directly in the field, so the reading is taken where the gas is, without a long sample line.

Two wires, no separate supply

Loop powered: the same pair carries power and the 4–20 mA signal.

Handles difficult samples

A built-in filter and scrubber, and suited to very low flow and pressure samples.

Key features

  • Loop-powered two-wire design
  • Inbuilt filter and scrubber
  • Works with very low flow and low pressure samples
  • Direct field installation

How it works

Where an oxygen reading is needed at a vessel, vent or pipe rack, a panel analyser with a sample line is more equipment than the job needs. A two-wire transmitter puts the measurement at the point of use and sends a 4-20 mA signal over the pair that powers it.

When you enquire, tell us the gas and range, the sample pressure and whether it is above or below atmospheric, the vessel or line where it will mount, and the area classification and temperature class. A transmitter on a vent reads whatever the vent carries, so mount it where the gas is representative of the headspace.
