ACCURRA-S models 6015 and 6030

Online carbon dioxide (CO2) analyser with NDIR sensor

ACCURRA-S measures carbon dioxide by non-dispersive infrared, from 0 to 5000 ppm on 6015 and 0 to 20 or 0 to 100 percent on 6030. Both come with a sensor life above five years.

ACCURRA-S carbon dioxide analysers
  • ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV
  • Designed and built in Pune since 2002
  • Supplied to Reliance, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, Linde and ISRO
Quick answer

ACCURRA-S measures CO2 by NDIR, from 0 to 5000 ppm (model 6015) and from 0 to 20 % or 0 to 100 % (model 6030), with a sensor life above five years. Dual-gas versions pair CO2 with oxygen, CO or methane.

Key features

  • NDIR is stable and needs infrequent calibration
  • Calibration check and history; optional auto-calibration
  • Output freeze during calibration

How it works

NDIR sensors measure how much infrared light a gas absorbs at a wavelength specific to it. Carbon dioxide absorbs strongly, so it is measured accurately and stably for years, with little drift compared with electrochemical cells.

CO2 is measured as an impurity in nitrogen and argon, as a product in fermentation and combustion, as a component of biogas and welding blends, and as the product in beverage and dry ice plants.

Requirements and limits

  • Safe-area analyser; the sample should be dry and free from oil and condensate.

Selection guidance

Choose 6015 for ppm-level CO2 impurity. Choose 6030 for percent CO2 in fermenter off-gas, welding blends, biogas and furnace atmospheres.

For CO2 and CH4 together see the dual-gas biogas analyser page.

Frequently asked questions

What ranges are available?

0 to 5000 ppm on 6015, and 0 to 20 or 0 to 100 percent on 6030.

Is CO2 affected by moisture?

The sample should be dry and non-condensing; use a cooler and filter for wet samples.

Can I read CO2 with oxygen?

Yes, in a dual-gas ACCURRA-S.

How long does the sensor last?

The catalogue gives more than five years.
