SRP-400 retractable sample probe

Insert or withdraw the probe on a live line rated to 100 kg/cm², and service it without stopping the process. A non fly-off design, pressure gauge and orifice-controlled bleed make retraction safe, and there is no welding on the sample path.

SRP-400 retractable sample probe
  • ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV
  • Designed and built in Pune since 2002
  • Supplied to Reliance, Tata Steel, Indian Oil, Linde and ISRO
Quick answer

SRP-400 is a retractable sample probe with no welding on the sample path, separate sample and bleed ports, pressure indication and orifice-controlled safe bleed, so the probe can be removed and serviced under process pressure without a shutdown.

Why SRP-400 retractable sample probe

Service without a shutdown

The probe tube glides through a fitting rated to 100 kg/cm², with retraction lengths up to 800 mm.

Safe by design

Non fly-off construction, a three-way bleed valve, pressure indication and an orifice-controlled bleed.

A clean sample path

No welding on the sample path, negligible dead volume, and NACE compliance available.

Key features

  • Retract the probe for filter service without shutting down the process
  • Pressure indication tells you when it is safe to withdraw
  • Orifice-controlled bleed vents the pressure slowly

How it works

In pressurised ducts and vessels, a fixed probe cannot be removed without a shutdown. A retractable probe isolates the process, bleeds the pressure through a controlled orifice, and withdraws, so filters and elements are serviced on a running plant.

Avoiding welds on the sample path removes crevices that hold condensate and corrode. The pressure indication tells the maintainer whether bleeding is complete.

Requirements and limits

  • Design pressure 100 kg/cm2 and design temperature 180 C maximum; confirm the rating for your process connection.

Selection guidance

Choose SRP-400 for pressurised processes, hazardous gas and long-running plants where shutdowns are costly. For wet analysis see the SV-400 vaporiser.
